Little Free Library
t the Salt Lake City congregation of the Community of Christ, we believe in the power of community, sharing, and the joy of reading. In line with our mission to promote understanding, enlightenment, and fellowship, we are thrilled to host a Little Free Library, a free book exchange open to everyone in our community.
How It Works
The principle is simple: anyone can take a book or bring a book to share. The Little Free Library operates on a “take a book, return a book” honor system, which fosters a spirit of generosity and community sharing.
Our Collection
Our collection ranges from inspirational and spiritual reads to novels, children’s books, and non-fiction. With the contributions from our congregation and community members, the selection continuously evolves.
Donations
We warmly welcome donations of books that are in good condition. If you have books you’d like to share, please ensure they are appropriate for a community audience and drop them off directly at the library.
Events
Throughout the year, we host reading events, book clubs, and storytelling sessions for children, encouraging the joy of reading and storytelling in our community. Keep an eye on our website for upcoming events!
